Brella's Best Day Ever

There I was, hanging on a door trying to desperately do pull ups just like I saw in a how-to-workout-at-home video suggestion. And then, there she was- Princess Umbrella- running, bucking, and happily galloping around in circles in one of the back pastures where she wasn’t supposed to be; appreciating the green grass by eating it all without a care in the world. Gosh, that sounds nice. Anyway- she had escaped!
I yelled for Joe. He swiftly grabbed his cowboy hat and lasso. I was wearing my weight vest which served no helpful purpose at all. And then for God-knows how long we chased a pony. Around a field. In circles. Over and over. We actually have no idea how to lasso what-so-ever. And my gosh- who knew she could be so quick?!
But eventually we got her. We talked to her about making better decisions on the long slow walk back to her stall. Joe and I questioned how the gate might have been left open and agreed it must have been the wind(?). We would never.
And that, is the true story of yesterday: Brella’s best day ever.
